FGFA Cautiously Optimistic After Phakisa Action Lab Meeting with Presidency, But Warns There’s Still Hard Work Ahead

Fields of Green for All (FGFA) was one of the participants in the Phakisa Action Lab workshop where over 100 cannabis stakeholders interacted with the Presidency between 19 and 23 June 2023. The organization says it’s cautiously optimistic in the wake of the engagement, and although there are still problematic areas, cannabis legalization in South Africa has entered a significant new phase.
